Trauma & PTSD
Gentle, paced work for complex trauma, attachment wounds, and the body's protective patterns.
TRAUMA-INFORMED · BILINGUAL · AFFIRMING CARE
Healing is the path. You are the journey.
Healing Pathways is a warm, inclusive therapy practice that welcomes people from every background and experience — trauma survivors, the LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent minds, those living with chronic illness or serious and persistent mental illness, and anyone learning to feel safe in their own nervous system. Wherever you are on the path, we will meet you there.

Welcome
Reaching out for therapy takes real courage, and we do not take that lightly. Our clinicians are here to guide you, as a personalized road map toward healing, healthier relationships, and a nervous system that finally feels calm. We offer both in-person and Telehealth sessions, and accept most major insurances as well as private pay.
“Mental health problems don't define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain, and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.”
What we hold space for
Every modality we practice is rooted in safety, consent, and the wisdom your body has been carrying all along.
Gentle, paced work for complex trauma, attachment wounds, and the body's protective patterns.
A genuinely safe space for queer, trans, and nonbinary clients — identity is celebrated, not analyzed.
Therapy offered in English and Spanish so you can heal in the language easiest for you.
Somatic-informed tools and attachment-based work to move from survival into safety, connection, and choice.
Child-centered play therapy, sand tray, Theraplay techniques, art, and music therapy for children, teens, and the child parts of every adult. Creativity is a language your nervous system already speaks.
Affirming support for ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and sensory-rich lives — no masking required.
Compassionate companionship for chronic illness, serious and persistent mental illness, grief, and the in-between moments that ask the most of us.
Our approach
Therapy here is not about fixing you or pushing you to “move on” from things before you are ready.
It is about understanding what has been happening beneath the surface — how your experiences have shaped the way you think, react, cope, and protect yourself. We pay attention to both the emotional and nervous system impact of stress, trauma, and long-term overwhelm.
Sessions often include slowing things down enough to notice patterns that may have been running automatically for a long time. For some people, that means making sense of past experiences. For others, it means learning how to feel more present, more regulated, or less constantly on edge in daily life.
We use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches including, but not limited to, play therapy, sand tray, ACT, EMDR, CBT, and somatic-informed strategies when helpful — but therapy is never reduced to a technique. What we use depends on what fits your needs and what feels supportive for where you are right now.
There is no expectation that you come in knowing what you need. Part of our work is figuring that out together.
